# Progress — Challenger M1 Fix 1

- Last visited: 2026-10-01T20:00:30Z
- Status: Verification and empirical challenge completed
- Completed:
  1. Ran `node tests/unit/test_challenger_tile_grid_stress.js` (48 passed, 0 failed, throughput 76.71 MQPS > 30 MQPS)
  2. Verified all 8 adversarial attack vectors defeated:
     - Vector 1: Headless Node.js require without `global.window`
     - Vector 2: Multi-dimension decoding boundary cases (1x1 to 300x200)
     - Vector 3: Buffer truncation across all section boundaries & degenerate fake headers
     - Vector 4: Header corruption, bad magic, fallback biome, huge dimension overflow rejection
     - Vector 5: Out-of-bounds non-finite coordinates (NaN, undefined, null, Infinity, strings) returning WALL (2)
     - Vector 6: Boundary & negative float index containment returning WALL (2)
     - Vector 7: In-place grid mutation and invalid coordinate rejection (`setTileAt`) with reactive chunk dirty hook
     - Vector 8: Query throughput starvation (> 30 MQPS) and mobile RAM footprint (10.55 KB <= 8 MB)
  3. Ran independent adversarial fuzzing (Symbol, BigInt, proto pollution, arrays, negative zero, mixed queries)
  4. Executed `pytest tests/unit/test_wilderness_map_generator.py -v` (26 passed)
  5. Executed `pytest tests/unit/test_challenger_m1_2_binary_compat.py -v` (15 passed)
  6. Executed `pytest tests/e2e/test_poe2_map_system_e2e.py -v` (81 passed)
  7. Ran strict hygiene audit `python tools/lint/check_code_and_doc_hygiene.py --strict` (0 Hard Cap violations)
- Next step: Update BRIEFING.md, write handoff.md with verdict APPROVE, and send message to parent.
