## Mission: Phase 2 Adversarial Coverage Hardening (Tier 5 White-Box Audit)
Initiate Phase 2 adversarial coverage hardening by auditing the implementation source code against existing test suites across the entire FreeExile procedural tile map redesign:

### 1. Source Files to Audit:
- Server:
  - `server/world/wilderness_map_generator.py`
  - `server/world/map_binary_serializer.py`
  - `server/world/map_data_types.py`
  - `server/world/procedural_map_engine.py`
  - `server/world/zone_engine.py`
- Client:
  - `client/webapp/js/engine/tile_grid_loader.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/engine/tile_map_renderer.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/engine/collision_engine.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/ui/war_fog.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/ui/war_fog_renderer.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/ui/minimap_hud.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/engine/grid_pathfinder.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/engine/monster_pack_system.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/engine/ambush_trigger_system.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/engine/boss_gate_controller.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/engine/world_renderer.js`
  - `client/webapp/js/engine/monster_system.js`

### 2. White-Box Coverage & Gap Analysis:
- Analyze control flow branches, boundary values, error recovery, and edge conditions.
- Probe for:
  - Unchecked input boundaries (zero-length buffers, negative or huge dimensions, NaN coordinates).
  - State machine anomalies (rapid state toggles, pause/unpause during transitions).
  - Memory leak potential or buffer overrun in static typed arrays.
  - Interaction edge cases across modules (e.g. FoW + collision sliding + Boss Gate mutation + pathfinding).

### 3. Verification Commands:
Execute and verify:
- `pytest tests/e2e/test_poe2_map_system_e2e.py -v` (81/81 tests)
- `pytest tests/unit/test_encounter_zones.py -v` (16/16 tests)
- `pytest tests/unit/test_tile_collision.py -v` (11/11 tests)
- `pytest tests/unit/test_fog_and_minimap.py -v` (14/14 tests)
- `pytest tests/unit/test_waypoint_safe_radius.py -v` (17/17 tests)
- `pytest tests/unit/test_monster_poise_and_leash.py -v` (10/10 tests)
- `node tools/perf/map_render_benchmark.js` (Must PASS, 0 stationary re-bakes)
- `node --expose-gc tools/perf/stress_test_grid_pathfinder.js` (Must PASS)
- `python tools/lint/check_code_and_doc_hygiene.py --strict` (0 hard cap violations)
- `pytest tests/unit/ -q` (all 1220 unit tests)

Write `handoff.md` in your directory with:
- Summary of audited branches and code paths.
- Concrete gap findings (if any) or report `NO REMAINING GAPS`.
- Explicit verdict: `APPROVE` (no critical gaps) or `REQUEST_CHANGES` (with gap reproduction).

## 2026-10-01T23:00:46Z
You are Challenger M6 1 (challenger_m6_1).
Your working directory is: c:\Projects\FreeExile\.agents\teamwork\challenger_m6_1
Your dispatch assignment is: c:\Projects\FreeExile\.agents\teamwork\challenger_m6_1\DISPATCH.md
MANDATORY: Read the authoritative user request at:
c:\Projects\FreeExile\.agents\teamwork\ORIGINAL_REQUEST.md (specifically section ## 2026-10-01T19:19:13Z - R1–R5 & Acceptance Criteria).

Initiate Milestone M6 Phase 2: Adversarial Coverage Hardening (Tier 5 White-Box Audit):
1. Audit the source code against existing test suites across the entire FreeExile procedural tile map redesign:
   - Server: wilderness_map_generator.py, map_binary_serializer.py, map_data_types.py, procedural_map_engine.py, zone_engine.py
   - Client: tile_grid_loader.js, tile_map_renderer.js, collision_engine.js, war_fog.js, war_fog_renderer.js, minimap_hud.js, grid_pathfinder.js, monster_pack_system.js, ambush_trigger_system.js, boss_gate_controller.js, world_renderer.js, monster_system.js
2. Analyze control flow branches, boundary values, error recovery, and edge conditions.
3. Determine if there are any untested edge cases or code paths.
4. Execute and verify all test suites:
   - pytest tests/e2e/test_poe2_map_system_e2e.py -v (81/81 tests)
   - pytest tests/unit/test_encounter_zones.py -v (16/16 tests)
   - pytest tests/unit/test_tile_collision.py -v (11/11 tests)
   - pytest tests/unit/test_fog_and_minimap.py -v (14/14 tests)
   - pytest tests/unit/test_waypoint_safe_radius.py -v (17/17 tests)
   - pytest tests/unit/test_monster_poise_and_leash.py -v (10/10 tests)
   - node tools/perf/map_render_benchmark.js (Must PASS, 0 stationary re-bakes)
   - node --expose-gc tools/perf/stress_test_grid_pathfinder.js (Must PASS)
   - python tools/lint/check_code_and_doc_hygiene.py --strict (0 hard cap violations)
   - pytest tests/unit/ -q (all 1220 unit tests)

Write handoff.md in your directory with:
- Summary of audited branches and code paths.
- Concrete gap findings (if any) or report NO REMAINING GAPS.
- Explicit verdict: APPROVE (no critical gaps) or REQUEST_CHANGES (with gap reproduction).
Send a message back to parent when complete.
