1. Pathfinding correctness: A* implementation, Supercover DDA line-of-sight raycasting, zero-delta axis safety, corner-cutting avoidance.
2. Encounter Zone Spawning: terrain cluster pack spawning, cohesive pack leashing (~9.0 tiles), encounter progress tracking, Boss Gate auto-unlock.
3. POI Scripted Wave Ambush: proximity trigger at <= 1.0 tile, 3–5 monsters spawned on passable tiles, once-only flag, dual visual states in world_renderer.js.
4. Non-regression: ensure existing waypoint safe radius, pause game controller, and required string invariants are 100% intact.
