## Key Decisions Made
- Used Node.js dynamic import (`node --input-type=module -e ...`) with UTF-8 encoding in `test_map_styles_catalog_sync.py` to evaluate `client/webapp/js/data/map_style_catalog.js` in a real JavaScript runtime, ensuring 100% cross-language data parity without mocking or fragile regex.
- Built isolated `:memory:` fixtures to test foreign key rejection (`sqlite3.IntegrityError`), cascading deletes, and CHECK constraint bounds without altering the canonical `data/map_styles.db` file.
- Formatted SQL strings concisely to keep `test_map_styles_db.py` at 318 lines (strictly under the 350-line Soft Cap).
