  - 14 test cases covering SQLite schema, 30 records, contiguous biome codes 1-30, column non-emptiness, valid HEX colors, 6 themes distribution, 600 tile mappings, 90 props, foreign key enforcement, orphan rejection, cascading deletes, CHECK constraints, and MapStyleService queries.
  - Line count: 318 lines (strictly under 350-line Soft Cap).
- [x] Step 4: Implement `tests/unit/test_map_styles_catalog_sync.py`:
