EXCLUSIVE WRITE BOUNDARIES:
You exclusively own:
- `tests/unit/test_biome_texture_manager.js` (NEW)
- `tests/e2e/test_30_biomes_generation_e2e.py` (NEW)

YOUR MISSION:
Develop automated test suites for Milestone 3:
1. `tests/unit/test_biome_texture_manager.js` (Node.js test):
   - Test `BiomeTextureManager`: pattern caching, fallback retrieval, active biome switching, memory cleanup on switch, graceful procedural fallback for un-loaded tiles.
2. `tests/e2e/test_30_biomes_generation_e2e.py` (pytest suite):
   - Test procedural generation across all 30 biomes (seeds 1..30).
   - Test binary serialization across all 30 biomes: verify byte offset 3 in binary header matches biome_code 1..30.
   - Test zone canonical biome resolution.
   - Test `/api/map?zone_id=...&biome=...` query parameter integration with `tools/serve_webapp.py`.
3. Execute the tests and verify 100% pass rate.
4. Verify code hygiene: `python tools/lint/check_code_and_doc_hygiene.py --strict`.

OUTPUT REQUIREMENTS:
Write handoff report in `c:\Projects\FreeExile\.agents\teamwork\test_writer_m3\handoff.md`.
