   - Purged all 155 `ep01_*` directories via `shutil.rmtree()`.
   - Purged root file `ep01_scene03_start_720p.png` via `unlink()`.
   - Post-purge count: exactly 0 `ep01` directories remaining, exactly 67 non-Ep01 directories remaining, exactly 10 non-Ep01 root files intact.

5. **Automated Test Suite (`tests/test_m2_hygiene.py`)**:
   - Authored `tests/test_m2_hygiene.py` with 6 exhaustive test cases:

## 2. LOGIC CHAIN

1. **From Observation 1 to Safety Baseline**:
   - Observation 1 confirmed all 14 core character portraits and 62 total character files were in pristine condition before operations began.
   - This established the baseline against which invariant preservation could be measured.

2. **From Observation 2 to Clean Production Slate**:
   - In accordance with R2 and the Zero Permanent Deletion policy, 184 legacy Ep01 video files were moved rather than deleted, relocating 2.14 GB of files to `04_Assets/archive/ep01_legacy_v1/`.
   - Because no `ep01` files remain in `04_Assets/videos/`, `production_orchestrator.py --status --episode ep01` now correctly reads 0/192 rendered shots, eliminating all file naming collisions for the upcoming re-production campaign (M3).

3. **From Observation 3 to IP Legal Protection**:
   - The authored `README.md` in `ep01_legacy_v1/` documents the Human-in-the-Loop creative workflow, explaining that rejected v1 renders serve as empirical evidence of creative selection, iterative refinement, and human direction required for copyright registration under Vietnamese IP Law Articles 4(8), 14, 20, 43.

4. **From Observation 4 to Elimination of Morphing/Leakage Vectors**:
   - The survey identified that `production_orchestrator.py:resolve_start_frame` automatically chained `clean_frame_239.jpg` when `shot_num > 1`.
   - Purging all 155 legacy `ep01_*` keyframe directories and `ep01_scene03_start_720p.png` eliminates all stale frames, preventing any accidental ingestion of Thúy Kiều face leakage into non-Kiều characters during future renders.

5. **From Observation 5 to Definitive Verification**:
   - The automated test suite `tests/test_m2_hygiene.py` systematically asserts each of the six requirements with zero mocks or hardcoded bypasses.
   - Passing 6/6 tests confirms that all acceptance criteria are met.
