   - Iteration 1 suffered from background writes originating from PID 41044 / 65208 running `--batch-scene ep01_scene01`.

   - The primary failure in Iteration 1 was the leftover directory `04_Assets/keyframes/ep01_scene10_shot14`.
   - Direct filesystem inspection confirms `ep01_scene10_shot14` does not exist, and 0 directories with prefix `ep01` exist in `04_Assets/keyframes/`.
   - Furthermore, all 7 premature Ep01 videos created during the earlier rogue render were purged from `04_Assets/videos/`, restoring the workspace to a pristine clean slate.

   - `tests/test_m2_hygiene.py` was inspected for cheating: all 6 tests perform physical filesystem inspections with zero mocks.

   - The specific test that failed in Iteration 1 (`test_keyframes_ep01_purged`) now passes cleanly.

   - Non-Ep01 assets (118 videos, 67 keyframe dirs, 62 character files, 184 archive videos) remain 100% unharmed.
